3rd Annual St. Baldrick's Event
Shaving the Way to Conquer Kids' Cancer

Friday, March 12 from 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm

St. Baldrick's 2009 - Susy Garcia

Because children with cancer typically undergo treatments that cause their hair to fall out, volunteers offer to shave their own heads in public as a bold act of solidarity. These volunteers collect donation pledges from friends and family, and their generous gifts help fund lifesaving childhood cancer research.

You can join the fun — and help raise funds! Make a commitment to shave your head and ask your family, friends and co-workers to make a pledge. If you're not ready for a shave, there are also other ways you can participate.

To register as a participant or volunteer, make a donation, or for more information, please visit the St. Baldrick's website.

Check out the video of last year's St. Baldrick's Day event.
